Ever
wonder who invented the first car radio? The
short answer to that question is: Clarion!
The model A-214 was introduced in 1948, and
Clarion has been blazing a mobile sound trail
ever since. From the world's first transistor
car radio, to in-car computer and navigation
systems, Clarion leads the way in technology
and innovation. One look at the new DXZ855MP,
and you'll know Clarion is at the cutting
edge. This gorgeous, stainless steel finish,
detachable face deck plays MP3 and WMA files
and features an amazing Optimedia touch panel
display. The contoured, high resolution, dot
matrix LCD display responds to your slightest
touch for the ultimate in control and convenience.
Behind the futuristic face is some of the
most advanced sound processing technology
you've ever heard. 24-bit DAC with Anti-Distortion
Filter ensures superior sound with enhanced
clarity and localization. The DXZ855MP features
an integrated 212-watt (peak) MOSFET power
amplifier to deliver unyielding power output
and superior linearity. The DXZ855MP is designed
to be part of a superb auto sound system,
with six 4-volt preamp outputs and 53W x 4
peak power to drive even the most wattage-hungry
speakers, while the Magna Bass EX feature,
designed specifically for superior bass response,
gives you a tight, heavier sound. Other features
include 2-band parametric equalizer, 3 screen
savers and wallpapers with programmable messages,
rear auxiliary input, and iPod interface so
you can unplug your headphones and plug your
iPod into the DXZ855MP (CeNET iPod Interface
sold separately). Aside from control, this
easy to use interface also powers and charges
your portable music player. The DXZ855MP is
also CeNET-equipped. Developed by Clarion,
CeNET is a component connection system so
you can control a DVD changer, TV tuner, Sirius
Satellite Radio receiver, or 6-disc changer
(all available separately). A handy wireless
remote control is included. |
